Thank you Guys, I have the file in front of me for the keyboard commands for open cockpits mcp and pmdg 737 and none of the assignments are the same as rc4. I'm now wondering if it has something to do with my vri cdu which im basically using as a posh keyboard emulator. @ Ray i'm originally from Stockport :( Not too far from egcc
Hi Steve,Good news on the open cockpits mcp and PMDG737 front. I was down at Pete's a few weeks back and he has the VRI hardware you mention. So he may be able to give you some news regarding that hardware. They usually send stuff to Pete when they want a driver writing but I don't know what the situation is with the VRI stuff. Hopefully there'll be a solution for you.Small world eh? I'm in Cheadle Hulme - right under the LISTO SID. Lucky me! :(

and you love the LISTO SID :-)

At this point I have been informed FSUIPC will not pass on keystrokes registered by RC or other aoplications that use it nor would putting it via WideFS on a client solve the problem according to Pete Dowson. Here's in part his reply to me (which I have permission to quote):>> It would seem for some that RC is capturing MCP created keystrokes ... << But they are different, as the users attested. >> ... so would not putting RC on a client avoid RC filtering out keystrokes on a host unless FSUIPC does not pass them on on the host? << RC is not filtering keystrokes, FSUIPC is. FSUIPC detects the keystrokes, looks in its "hotkey list" to see if anyone wants them, and notifies them. RC is listing its hotkeys for notification. It doesn't matter where RC is, it is only reading FSUIPC offsets, not keys. RegardsPeteBeta group for VRInsight from Pete Dowson I quote:On the VRInsight devices, the latest versions of FSUIPC (from my Support Forum) can handle VRInsight devices and deliver button numbers instead of keystrokes from them. It isn't documented yet except for folks who volunteered for Beta testing, but I will be putting together a documentation package dealing with it either along with the next main FSUIPC release, due next week, or soon after. Meanwhile folks with problems can join the Beta group -- there's a "stickie" on my website about it. -------end quote-------The thread link is:http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?...2b67cf9d90399e0
