Hello I have purchased and installed Js41 from PMDG today this included SP1 and is running on FSX I printed out the pilot tutorial to follow and loaded up the tutoial flight from KHPN upon switching on the battery check nothing happens no voltage display no engine start nothing.I have tried starting up with the engines running but the cockpit gauges arn't on the avionics are switched to on I have a gauge showing in the middle og the fms but the fms won't switch on.I am running on windows 7 64bit on an Intel power mac using bootcamp to dual boot.Any advise please? Thanks Phil Broadhurst

Verify you have FSX with SP2 for FSX.Make sure you install with admin rights running the installer.See if things work with the default "create a flight" first, engines should be running and everything but the FMS on.When loading a saved flight, always load a simple default plane first then select the saved flight. I always have the Trike set as my default airplane.Don't make a complex aircraft the default airplane in FSX.

Hi Dan Thanks for the speedy reply Yes Sp2 was installed on Fsx when I installed JS41Phil Broadhurst

Are you sure that you activated the JS41 correctly? On first load, a window should appear into which you enter an activation code.Andrew

Yes I have activated it using the serial no provided by Pmdg and the activation was confirmed, it also installed the 32bit programs after the install had completed.Phil Broadhurst

Hi Dan sorry for delay in replying. I uninstalled js41 uninstalled FSX sp2, then reinstalled them using admin rights, seems to have cured the problem, the o/h now displays and the panel gauges are on. Tried a very tentative quick flight in create a flight from EGCC flying manually up to EGNT, didn't land though still a steep learning curve! Spending some time now with the operating manual. Thanks to yourself and Andrew for the advise, I was beginning to think at one time that I had a corrupt download!Best regards Phil Broadhurst
