Fast Aircraft

Featured Replies

Forgive me if i sound a bit like an idiot when i ask this but i was woundering if anyone knew of any, well... really fast aircraft? It does not have to be a real aircraft as long as its fast. I saw Satellite 05 but its unavalible unfortunatly. So if anyone could either send this or knows of any fast craft please do contact me via this topic. Thanks

I meant like, 100000000000mph breakneck speeds (forgive me for sounding childish)

What about NASA's Space Shuttle? Jim

What about the North American XB-70 Valkyrie? It

There's an SR-71 Blackbird available as a free download as well."It's fast enough for you, old man. What's the cargo?..." ;)

I second SR-71's. Most of the models fly like the "Firefox": fast, furious, fictional. The AlphsSim Blackbird, though, flies by the manual. Then too, you could probably adjust one of the default model's .cfg files to produce crazy boosts for free... I remember a CLS 777 I think, that did that on "arcade mode". FSX does run into rendering difficulties if you fly too fast, though, and there is also a speed limit of Mach 3. That limit, though, can be worked around using tricky programming skills.
