PMDG indiscriminatory post deleting?

Featured Replies

I put here a post about FSX vs FS2004 statistics. Where is it?????? The post was here already for a few days and i did a very BOLD and LARGE remark that it wasnt for FSX vs FS2004 discussions but for facts. I also didnt disrespect anybody and didnt make any accusations or any other type of crap that would be condemnable. Today i put a graphical analysis on it... and it got deleted or erased or whatever. This is a total lack of respect and obviously the ppl moderating this part of the AVSIM foruns dont have the heads in the right place and obviously lack some common sense or even values. Regards, M

Yeah... but obviously my thread had 2 objectives: 1. Inlight all the ppl envolved in that discussion (both sides) 2. Talk about the shift that is happening between FS9 and FSX with facts and numbersPpl are just paranoic about this.It has to be discussed freely and its not deleting the posts that will help this get sorted out in everyones head.I see it a total lack of respect for anyone. Its becoming quite normal i guess to see this heavy censureship in this forum... but for me its completely wrong and disrespectful to customers. If the objective of this Forum is to give support only then close the General Section and put in the rules that.I did sign my name.Regards, M

Look.I dont care about which version PMDG is gonna support.I will buy whatever they sell. If they do a NGX and dont do a NG2 i will move to FSX because of that. But i really hate heavy censureship on a posts that are to promote peace on this matter.Against facts there arent arguments. This was what i was trying to do.Maybe i was hoping too much for a forum with so many imature ppl but my intentions were clear and simple.Regards, M

Unfortunately for all, this forum isn't a democracy, it's PMDGs train set. There is no recourse, that's just the way it is with most forums.

The least they could do was to send a PM saying they erased it and why they did.But this kind of behavior its unacceptable from a professional company.Maybe this all started to be upside down when companies like PMDG or others started to use Foruns to give support and communicate with customers in a attempt to create awareness for their own products.I guess everything has its backside.Regards,M

Since you obviously missed what I said, and before this one too gets deleted, try taking a second and reading the actual comment here just put out by Robert. It is a short read, read #1...

PMDG does not want anything even remotely related to the FSX and FS2004 discussion. They do not care if it is about facts, opinions or whatever, they do not want it. They have said so repeatedly. If you then post anything related, then yes, it will get deleted. Doesn't seem that weird to me.
