  1. Who cares about the price...seriously... Just think about the ratio price per hours of flight simming satisfaction!... Even before release and just from watching the beta team pics and videos i can now say vigourously: Congratulations PMDG !!! As a software developer myself i can only say u guys reached perfection. The stuff you do in a market so ridicolous small compared to the gaming industry is just out of the box! Thanks for having the strengh to carry on!
  2. That was not the case for sure. Márcio Nóbrega
  3. All was good till you say Airsimmer! Piracy has not affected them a single bit i can ashure you as an ET member! I'm definately in favor of supporting good developers and everyone here should respond to the effort that PMDG has made, even if the product was free!Usually i say that the price of entertainment is proporcional to the hours of fun they provide... a DVD it's too expensive... I'd say NGX reallllyyy cheap! Cheers Márcio Nóbrega
  4. I too wanna say THANK YOU!I know the best to way to say thanks will be buying ur product (which i will) but nevertheless i had to add something more.You guys with your creativity, preserverance and will have made a breakthrough which will probably make your addon something that actual real-world pilots will start using for fun.The detail is so awesome, i cant express by words what i feel when i look at it. Already in FS9 your NG was the plane that i always fly...why... because of the way it handles my commands.. and it's indeed far away from this new FSX Version.You will actually make the final resistents (me, included) move to FSX! :D...About all the ones the constantly complain about the waiting i just wanna say this: If you ever had been a certain ExtendedTeam member in another certain company you would most probably know what WAITING really is!Best regards,Márcio Vasconcelos
  5. Nop.The mimo monitor is purely USB. No VGA or DVI.Other monitors do have VGA/DVI and USB. VGA/DVI for the image and USB for the touchscreen, but not this one.Thats why it's slow... cause the data rate u get thru an USB isnt enough to make it as fast as other monitors.I agree, this is kinna offtopic so if u guys have doubts about this just send me a msg.Regards,Márcio
  6. Just for ur info and from my experience....I already had 2 of these and really the degree of immersion it gives its not that much.I first had this same screen as in the video (Mimo).Its a 7'' USB monitor and cheap but very slow. Also fullscreen mode doesnt work with it.I now have a 7'' vga touchscreen (costs around $250) which i tried with an FMC... its simply not good....ur not touching buttons but a screen and also it's a lot slower than a mouse because the size of the monitor makes it difficult for u to press all the buttons quickly.One other thing is that the screen is off ur cockpit...so... unless u have a full homebuild cockpit it's not as real as when u are using the FS VC where it's actually all in the real place.Nowadays i found a very good use for it....i plug it to another computer where i have my charts and checklists and use it as an EFB...but other than that it's quite useless for simming in my opinion.If u want immersion without spending 15k or more for a home build cockpit buy:- hotas cougar (all metal)- CH pedals- trackIR- large monitor or 3 smaller ones+tripleHead2Go, always 16:10- buttkicker (sound vibration)- headphones with micThe experience will be very good and you will not be limited to one plane for the rest of ur simming life.Regards,Márcio
  7. It's the Airbus curse!Really there must be some hidden stuff in the sim against Airbus....lolol... afterall the product comes from US! :PIts difficult for everyone to make complex heavy modern aircraft... as in the PMDG forum was said..only an handfull of ppl can actually do this kind of work in the whole world... and Aerosoft are still making their first steps in the field...so perfectly normal that problems show up.The forum beeing offline tho looks kinna rude to me...(it seems a very nice coincidence more than an unsolvable problem, afterall there are backups for these situations)... Other thing that upsets me is that after normal labor hours all them go home... if it was in my company (and i do work in software) we would be doing hard time at night to get it out... no matter what... sometimes some sacrifice is needed and it seems to me that none is beeing made... maybe its because its Germany and ppl are very rigid with labor hours... but nevertheless... its my point of view...of course noone is obligated to stay at work and dont go home to wife and children...but the image of the company doesnt win much with all that has happened and kinna remembers another company we all know.Lets wait...Aerosoft is a big company... sooner or later it will be out.Regards
  8. or unless u are using a buttkicker!! :D..lol...its the closest i got to a moving platform simulator at home!.It would be just great to actually feel the landing.. :DHeeheh.... Regards, Márcio
  9. I definately know what u mean.... Regards,M
  10. LPPT :(... -> LPMARegards,M
  11. I agree... a 787 would be definately a good plane to make...after the NGX and 777.After that...well.. there is still a long road.Regards,M
  12. For me its the Wilco.PSS was good but age got into it...Must be a curse..lol... there will be still a lot of time till we see a good PMDG top level Airbus flying FSX skies. FS9 .. i have really huge doubts it will ever happen.Without the bugs Airsimmer is definately the best...Regards, M
  13. *******! are u always this harsh with everybody?That seems like a big bad karma growing up in ur mind and spirit...all that negativity cant be good. Chill out...this is just a forum...not a job.Lets all stop with this nonsense and carry on with our lifes...i apologize if i made a negative image about AVSIM and if that was taken as an attack at all the effort u invest in daily basis beeing mod here.Feel free to clean this thread and start a new one... as the topic is not relations between mods and users.Regards, M
  14. Because Im an ET Member.Because i had already tought and driven my own conclusions about this, way before Baylan posting anything, based both on public facts and my own experience as a programmer. I dont have anything against the site that ripped ur name... as i wouldnt have against flightsim.su or any other...i do not belong to that battle...everyone has the same passion for aviation and interest in FSDevelopment....and u guys are by very far the real AVSIM...when i commented about avsim.su i didnt even know that there was such an issue between u and them. ok. u seem to not understand that im not arguing about Avsim defending the developers anymore. i already said "ok" to ur first post thus agreeing with u in what u said."accusations are in dispute with neither side providing evidence" ... facts dont need evidence...but if u want evidence do buy the Basic Airsimmer Version... Regards, M
  15. I enjoy places where information that is important for the buyers doesnt get deleted...Where persons like Baylan can warn everybody about an internal situation that have external consequences and dont get shut up...I will rest my case. I have far more in life to do, other that to be arguing here what is right or what is wrong with you guys...uve cleary have ur idea...and ive got mine about this all matter.Regards,M
