Algiers add on scenery help

There is an exclude fix - daag_fix.zip at Fligfhtsim.com. This is not an AFCAD fix as mentioned earlier. It refers to:This file should correct problems with Algiers Houari Boumediene Airport in Algeria when you have daagrealscenery.zip installed. (if you do not have this scenery installed, you don't need this file). There is no ATC service and traffic ignore the airport.but I suspect it really means algiers7.zip, probably because in those days Flightsim.com didn't allow long filenames. The other thing you might try is to make the add-on scenery's airport co-ordinates in the AFCAD file match the default FS one. They differ slightly, which may be making FS think you have two different airports. They are the only two changes I have made to my setup for the airport, and I see no "bleeding through".I think the references to DGAA are a red herring and refer to the Accra scenery available from http://www.fsnabisso.com/ .John

Well the files you sent had DGAA in the file name not DAAG (DAAG is the code for Algeiers). But I am going to bed now and will try everything again tomorrow. But I now have a strong feeling it's my modified AFCAD causing the problem
Yeah . . . that sound like something I would do! :( What a knucklehead.

Just wanted to say thanks. I did what you suggested and that worked. No more bleed through problems now. Got a question about the AFCAD. The AFCAD has one start location and it's in the middle of the apron. Do I need to delete that one and add start locations at the ends of the runways?

That's probably a good idea - it is the "proper" way to do it and there is always a risk of problems if protocol isn't followed.Glad you got it sorted.Best wishes,John

A few days ago, I added scenery. I found AFCAD was huge error. Missing hold short on both runways. All taxiways without callsign name of taxiway. I edited and everything is good. I added old Air Algerie 737-200, 727-200 and A300 abandoned parking some apron ramps. It worked for me. I created Flight plans for old planes parked. If you are in interesting PM me. I'll send you AFCAD and FP. Stuart
