I've seen both the Carenado and Flight1 offerings is one better then the other? or is there another I've overlooked? I also would like to mount reality XP gauges in the VC is this possible with these?

The Flight1 C172 is the most flexible in terms of mounting RXP gauges, but it is a FS9 design... see below. The Carenado is the newest, looks nice, but the gauges are best left alone (and are fine, as is BTW).I actually mostly fly the FSX C172 with the RealAir flight model and the RXP analog gauges... picture attached.

haha that made me chuckle...Thanks!! There it is people.... proof!Oh, I haven't really looked at the prices for all that stuff. What would it cost to have my default VC panel look like yours? Is it one gauge pack or two?p.s. what Meigs scenery is that?

The main (sacred six) gauges are the Reality XP FLT gauges. The VOR gauges which really matter less IMHO, are the Reality XP FLN gauges. So, in total, two packages... I'd suggest starting with the FLT gauges - they are very versatile and include a Bendix King ADI & HSI set.As far as the Meigs scenery goes, it is a blend of a Meigs package I found in the library and my addition of the control tower.Send me an email: bpieke at gmail dot com if you want a copy.
