Wow Gerard it looks good, I can't wait to try it.Why dont you upload it here and split it into a few parts. I dont know what the size limits are here, but I have seen some pretty big downloads here that the authors split in to mulitple downloads.Or, you could upload it to rapidshare or megaupload, but the problem with those sites it that if your not a member the download speeds can be really slow. If think the best option is to just upload it here and split it into 4 to 6 parts, or how ever many it takes to fit the limits of the Avsim library.

I just went and looked at the upload policy here and it says that 100MB is the max per file. Is yours exactly 100mb or slightly less. If it meets 100MB or less it will be fine and you can do it in 6 sections. It needs to be 100mb on the nose. If it is slightly larger can you reduce the bitmap slightly?If not, then you may need to use a place like Megaupload or a file host like that.BTW, since you finished it, how is the performance with the rig you have?

Hi, I have the Aerosoft scenery for Vienna Boxed product but it also has the fly tampa logo on the box so I assume they were the developers. Will I be able to use your files to update my airport to FSX? PS I have a rapidshare premium account and would be happy to host the files there for you if needed?

I cant speak for him, but the way I understand it is that you have to own FlyTamps Vienna airport for FS9. All he has done is made some ground textures and did some other things to make it work in FSX, but you need to have your own FT Vienna. In this case I wouldnt think you would need FT permission to distribute info or files that will allow it to work in FSX since he isnt distributing any files belonging to FlyTampa. It's kind of like what some other people have done to make the well know version of KPDX by Vauchez work in FSX.

Friday a week ago my harddisk with Windows did not wanted to boot again.Also my FSX disk stopped responding.All Vienna files on it too.No problem, you should say , as for both of them I had 2 years warrenty.I went to the store where I bought them and explained that there was important data on them.They promised to copy put the data on 2 new disks.However, the person who had to do it was not informed about the data and formatted the disks......... :( Since monday last week they are running a slow recovery program in order to try to get my data back. Yesterday I called thge store and they think that it will take another 3-4 days.Imho a very long time as once I tried a recovery program and was able to retrieve 3/4 of the data in 16 hours ( 350 GB) and now we are talking about 170 Gb.Tomorrow I will contact the store again.In the mean time I bought 2 new disks and Windows and FSX with some addon programs have been installed already.Let's keep our fingers crossed. :(

Hi Gerard, thats bad news indeed. Lets hope they can recover the data. My offer of space on my rapidshare premium account still stands. but I'm still wondering if this fix will work with my boxed Aerosoft/FlyTampa edition?

It should work since it should be the same as the downloaded version of the same product, no? The only difference as I understand it is that Aerosoft boxed it and put it on a CD to sell it, while others just downloaded it.
