February 20, 201016 yr Hello folks,NEED some help Please.......I had FSX on a dedicated Raptor and it flat out crashed, of course losing all FSX.I reformatted and started to reinstall FSX Deluxe then Acceleration. The cd started fine but the install box said "Repair" / Remove -Well, I clicked remove and got an error 0x80040702 - Failed to load DLL: GameuxInstallHelper.I did some research and used the MS Installer Clean up program to no avail.Since I was not able to do a normal uninstall through control panel, I have thousands of entries in my registrywhich would take days to delete.I've also cleaned out my temp files etc to no avail for install.What do I need to do to get up and running again.You help would be most appreciated.(Win7, 64 bit)cthiggin Tom Higginbotham - Montgomery, AL, USA

February 27, 201016 yr I did some research and used the MS Installer Clean up program to no avail.Never trust MS to have done anything that fulfills it "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
March 4, 201016 yr If registry entries are a problem, you might try cCleaner and Glary's Utilities. Both are freeware. I run each several times in a row untill no problems are found. Seems to work for me.Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
