  1. P3d will still do that in "full screen mode". LM fixed the ATM always opening in the middle of screen. Mine also freezes / screen goes black if in full screen mode. Windowed mode, it works fine. cthiggin
  2. It worked fine for me on the Mustang & the Pilatus. You "DO" have to check in the FSX gauges / sound / effects folders and you'll find files that identify with the Mustang. Copy those and put in your respective folders in P3D and all is well. cthiggin
  3. REX-E & P3D - no cloud popping here - and IMHO, it's smoother in P3D than FSX.
  4. Overlooked it..........purchased activation..........like you, don't know what it does, but it worked fine. Thanks so much and have a blessed one. cthiggin
  5. Valar, Where did you get the "activation P3D" ? and the 4.99 fee? - I haven't seen this on REX site. I read this am at REX that they're coming out in a few days with a migrator for P3D? Let me know if you will and thanks so much. cthiggin
  6. Hello folks, NEED some help..........I've read all the "threads" here multiple times. I d/l'd FSX2P3D, installed, kept it enabled - it's located (where the installer put it) in the root of C:, where Prepar3D is located, just like the directions stated. I d/l'd ECZA from Flight1 and installed it......would not allow me to point to my virtual FSX in root of C: ECZA Installed and the configurator came up. I then made the .exe file listed above so ECZA would start with P3D. Here are the errors I'm getting: 1. Ezdok camera add FSX process not found. FSX_handle: 0 Then multiple error boxes open...here's what most of them say. 2. Access violation at address 006548E4 in module 'ECZA.exe'. Read of address 000002FC What have I done wrong? I do NOT have a "legacy mode" option in the P3D folder. Your help would be highly appreciated. cthiggin
  7. JakobF, You are correct. Start xDisplay (Splashtop Streamer) on your "PC first", load FSX and your flight - on your iPad, start xDisplay - in FSX (Window Mode), open the module you want to transfer in FSX, such as FMC, be sure to "un-dock", then with your mouse, move it to the iPad - you're ready to go...Also, the iPad Touch Screen "works" xDisplay, so you can make FMC or whatever you've moved over to iPad respond to your touch. Works great. cthiggin
  8. Hi folks, I had the same issue with Air Display. I searched and tried one from the App Store called "xDisplay' by Splashtop. Frankly, it works great with NO lag whatsoever. I have yet to find one that works in "full-screen mode". ...........but xDisplay app works great. cthiggin
  9. The ATC opens dead center of your screen, and is not transparent like in FSX. Also, if you move it to say upper left so you can see instruments, then close it, the next time it's dead center and not being transparent, it hides your instruments. LM has stated it's going to be fixed in the next release. cthiggin
  10. Warren, You're right. Smoothness and I love even the default scenery over FSX. So vivid and sharp..........just pretty. Orbx just makes it come alive. In FSX I used GEX & UT, but I'm going to leave that out on P3D and just continue to expand when Orbx releases it. I also use Full Screen Mode, but when I do, the tool bars leave at bottom. The only flaw in FSM is that the ATC is buggy - which LM is going to address in the next update or v2. cthiggin
  11. Hello folks, I found a resolution for the above problem on the PMDG-XGX forums. It appears as default in your FMC under "Simulation" that "YES" is checked for the "NGX" to use FSX course & Nav1 for the ILS Approach. I checked the P3D ILS Course and Nav1 for a particular airport KATL, and lo and behold, the P3D info is "different" than in FSX, plus there were some errors in P3D Flight Planner as having several runways with the same Nav1 & Course..............WELL, the fix for the 737NGX is to turn OFF that feature in FMC. Worked like a charm and could do the ILS approaches fine. (NOTE: I am "learning" the NGX, so I am not using the FMC to program the entire flight. cthiggin
  12. PingPong, I remember that "now" from several years ago. Thanks for "refreshing" an old memory. Have a blessed day. cthiggin
  13. Thanks so much folks - works like a charm. Have a blessed one. cthiggin
  14. HiFly, Boy, that overview made a lot of sense to this newby...Will do as instructed by all and put this issue to bed. Thanks so very much fellows for taking the time to help with my issue. All have a blessed one. cthiggin
  15. I ported over the NGX through your help and all is well. One observation I have made is: I fly IFR flights with the NGX and use the ILS approach. When ATC assigns me a landing runway, I input the Course and Nav1 assigned for that runway. What is happening to me is that once ATC tells me so...and..so on localiser, (I am below glideslope which is active) I press APR on the AP, and immediately the course goes up or down by two digits and I will not capture the ILS approach. The PMDG does not do this in FSX. I have tried turning off APR, then AP, reset Course, turn AP back on, then press APR, and immediately the Course changes. I went to the PMDG 737-NGX forums and posted. I was told that in the FMC under simulation, you can turn on/off - USE FSX Course - Mine was turned on. Any Ideas what I'm doing wrong? My thoughts is that if the FMC simulation tab says FSX......, then it's not reading the P3D courses/navs. I only use (for now) the FMC to save panel states, open doors etc. - at this point, I'm not programming a flight into FMC. Thanks so much and have a blessed day. cthiggin
