Really Like X Plane
I did go to settings and dragged all the sliders to the far right but it didn''t make any difference as far as using the mouse is concerned, but hey maybe it's the way it runs on my machine.

Really Like X Plane

Really Like X Plane
I have been reading alot in this forum about everyones experiences. I downloaded the demo and tried it. It runs super cool on my computer. The only draw back for me is that I use the mouse to fly. That is just the way I prefer it. I use the mouse and keyboard in fsx also. When using the mouse in X Plane it is way way to sensitive for me. I am used to the sensitivity in FSX. I would buy this if it were not for that. I saw no way of adjusting the mouse sensitivity in the menu settings. That is the only draw back for me. As time goes by it will get better as far as scenery, ect. It does run so much smoother than FSX.

Almost brings tears to my eyes
This morning i took a flight from Liesure Land Airpark to Quiliquote and it almost brought tears to my eyes using the orbyx scenery. This is the way it is supposed to be. Soooo vivid and smooth. If we can ever port over GEX and Ultimate Terrain and Rex it will be heaven. The only thing I don't like is my desktop tool bar on the bottom when i am in full screen mode. Other than that I love it. Prepar3D is the future.

FSX support for Prepar3D
I have deleted fsx from my computer and installed Prepar3D. FSX support for Prepar3D is not working. It keeps saying I have FSX installed. There is nothing left on my computer that has to do with FSX including the registry. Save your money.

Airport is in the trenches
I think i know what the problem is I have the first version of GEX and when i went to their site i found out there are two more updates for it. While reading their forums there is an issue with Washington that has been resolved with the two updates, including the airports and water elevations. Dummy me for not checking in the first place. I have no other addons except for GEX and Ultimate Terrain,REX and some payware aircraft. The reason my mesh is so high [ per Nick's setup] is that i bought a Alenware computer and it runs everything in high def easily. Thanks for all the help That is why I love this site best. Any one that might have a solution takes the time to help. I am not really up on elevations, terrain mesh and some of the more technical things in fsx, so forgive me if i don't explain things clear enough. When the updates are finished downloading and I install in the proper order I have a feeling that will cure the problem. Thanks again everyone.

Airport is in the trenches
Did some further testing. Turned off Ultimate Terrain but that did not help. Looked in my library and saw no duplicate afcad files. It is looking like I will have to reinstall

How about that first flight in the Carenado 208B?
I bought it this morning and everything works fine on my single core computer. Very easy on frame rates. Well done Carenado.

New video card installed
I just installed a new graphics card and when I run fsx the graphics section still shows my old card. My question is does it matter or is there a way to change it other than reinstalling fsx. Thanks for the help.
