March 3, 201016 yr Hi AllI have been using tile prox from its arrival ,its a wonderful program that i have had a lot of enjoyment from but it can become a bit daunting Now i have discovered ,an alternative that beats in my oppinion all the rest.with no blurries ,no hassles, clear crisp scenery,May i say right now i am just a happy customer that feels he has hit the jackpot. The name of the program is SIM SAVVY I got 11 complete states of west usa for $200, this guy Larry isnt after making a fortune he is making super scenery at a super price ,and is already producing the east coast states, you dont have to hang around for years for the next batch coming along.Included with the 11 westcoast states is a 283 gig hard drive containing the software that you get to keep, take into count the cost of the hard drive and your scenery cost is a fraction of what the others are charging and better in my oppinion.have a look at his web page what you see is what you get, give him a go he deserves the plug i have given he has made my flighsim experience all i ever dreamed of don

March 3, 201016 yr Does it have night textures? How about seasons? What about water masks? Buildings? Trees? Light poles?No-it has none of those-(buildings if your scenery complexity slider is all the way up). But for a reasonable price you get the entire West-and now East of the US in photoreal. Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
March 3, 201016 yr Commercial Member Does it have night textures? How about seasons? What about water masks? Buildings? Trees? Light poles?UUUmmmmmm, let me see, for $200, the whole of the USA, in 2m per pixel photoreal.... are you seriously expecting light poles, trees etc ? :( :( It's photoscenery on a large scale, at about $8 per state. I can't see where you can go wrong..... It beats the standard scenery into a cocked hat, you can lay any other higher res stuff over it, he has even included an option to display airspace markers. If you want detailed night lights, you can just turn it off with one click, after all, you cant actually SEE any of the textures at night.... And I guess the odd occasion when you want to land a float plane, you can go back to standard as well. My personal opinion is that projects like this need to be supported, not picked on for the things they dont do, that way guys like Larry just wont bother........ and your flight sim experiance will be the less for it.BTW, the quality of the scenery is also very good as well, check out some of Geofa's or my screenshots if you need convincing...Cheers, Mark
March 3, 201016 yr ........ and your flight sim experiance will be the less for it.My flight sim experience? Uh... ok. :(Until photoreal can match FTX or UTX + GEX, I'll be using "normal" sceneries. Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!
March 3, 201016 yr My flight sim experience? Uh... ok. :(Until photoreal can match FTX or UTX + GEX, I'll be using "normal" sceneries.I think it's "your" in the general sense rather than "your" specifcally related to you personally.
