March 4, 201016 yr Why is it my installs do not show up in scenery Addons?TimIt's not the default location for scenery addons. With FSX/FS9 you can put scenery addons anywhere on your harddrive. If you want an addon located in the scenery addon folder, you can move it to that location but you will have to update the Scenery Library. Many flight simmers place their addons on another harddrive and connect it to the Scenery Library from there.Best regards,Jim
March 4, 201016 yr Why is it my installs do not show up in scenery Addons?TimMuch would depend upon how you installed them and if you activated (added) them properly using the Scenery Library utility in FSX.Can you cite a specific example (Filename) of one you tried to install? Also it would be good to know what Operating System you are using - XP, Vista or Win 7.More details please.

March 5, 201016 yr yes.FS Genesis Mesh for around the world. Yes.It's payware. What's the differance how many disks I have in comparison how to install them properly?TimThe number of disks means nothing - I was just attempting to find out what you were trying to install. Are you saying this product did not come with any installation instructions? That seems unlikely. If all else fails, contact FSGenesis and request help from them.

March 5, 201016 yr Can't you assist me how to get the installs into FSX scenery library? If you are asking how to add (activate) a new scenery entry in the FSX Scenery Library when using Win 7 as your Operating System, this link will tell you how it is done and it has pictures illustrating the process. http://forums.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?t=205432There is a "bug" in Win 7 which makes adding scenery entries a little more difficult than what we are used to under XP.If you asked this in the first place it would have saved a good deal of time.
March 5, 201016 yr Moderator The package is self-installing!1. put the first DVD in the drive and wait for the autorun.inf to open a new browser window.2. look for any .exe file, double-click on it and let it install everything automatically. There is a bug in Win7's mouse driver that prevents it from working as it was designed to do. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
