March 4, 201016 yr New User (First time caller :( )Still on the short end of this long curve... :( ....When configuring Push Back Needed (Yes/No), I am confused on one point. Eventhough I am parked at a standard gate and I will require a pushback, I want the push back performed by AES rather than Maddog. Do I say "NO" because I want AES to handle or do I say "YES" because I still want the flows to include the pushback? If I say "YES" seems the distance, direction, angle will override AES pre configured movements. If I say "NO" seems the flows will not include any interaction with Ground Crew. Thanks for a great add on :( Quote
March 4, 201016 yr HiIf you are at an AES enabled airport, and want to be pushed back by AES, set the fs2crew config option AES to YES, PUSHBACK REQUIRED to YES and simply skip the fs2crew ground crew action (don't start with "ground from cockpit") and use the AES menus instead.Unfortunately AES ground crew and pushback can't be controlled by fs2crew voice.
March 24, 201016 yr I don't have FS2Crew for Maddog yet but I am about to purchase it. Two quick questions:1. Having Radar Contact on a second computer (laptop) with speakers at about half meter from my microphone could interfere? I mean, could the voices of Radar Contact be "heard" by my FS2Crew first officer? I don't want to push the mute button everytime there is an ATC communication on Radar Contact.2. If I do a pushback with AES (and then DON'T do it with FS2Crew), can I continue issuing vocal commands to the FO for the engine starts? The pushback procedure is independent of the engine start in FS2Crew, isn't it?Thanks. James Goggi

I've flown flights in VATSIM with ATC on speakers and even speaking into the same microphone myself without mute, without any interference problems.2. Yes, you can. Just skip the ground engineer dialogue.
