March 5, 201016 yr I keep getting notices to upgrade to AVG 9.A while back there were some concerns expressed here, about it.Are there any recent opinions as to it being safe, relative to FS9?Alex Reid
March 5, 201016 yr I've used AVG9 ever since its release and have had no issues at all with FS9 ...;)
March 5, 201016 yr I'm 99% sure they released a patch for it that stopped it from minimizing programs, so if you upgrade, it'll be included. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |

Otherwise, I don't even know its there. As an aside, finally got my 3rd monitor up and now everything is asit should. Many thanks for all your help on this.Cheers,Jim

March 6, 201016 yr Alex,From a Support perspective AVG9 has disabled a number of programs that rely on the Internet.
March 6, 201016 yr Posted this on FSDT, but up to now no reply ( maybe due to it being weekend)Similar question on FSDT Dreamteam General discussion forum, it concerns whether installing AVG FREE 9, to replace the 8.5 version, will detect in FS9 the Blgman.dll in the modules file and remove it making the FSDT & Cloud 9 Airports un-usable if no action is taken to re-install the Blgman.dll file. The Resident Shield has seen this file as a treat in the past.Any idea if the new version automatically takes over the settings of the old version which now includes in the advance settings an exception to the scan for the FS9 Modules file.Have XP.
