Sounds to me like an SQL error, or whatever tech they use on their server mailing system. My bet is someone borked the code. It actually reminds me of this quote:“There are two ways to write error-free programs; only the third one works.”(Alan J. Perlis)

No, nothing sinister meant. We all know that un-subscribe doesn't always work even outside of the well known problem from another situation here.

You can simply write to them and they will fix it up if you get multiple mails. I had something similar before because I used multiple e-mail addresses for orders from them. They fixed it in no time. (I think the address is crew at pcav...).The only thing they can't get right is, their mails contain the images that belong to the HTML mails, but when you view the mail the images still need to be loaded from their servers (this is the case with Thunderbird at least).Siggy
