March 18, 201016 yr I see you have Active Sky Advanced.Any chance you have Global Mode on? That can cause some lag issues with RC4.By the way, Active Sky Evolution is available for free upgrade at the moment. That seems to run RC4 alright in Global Mode aside for some lagging after being handed over to approach and so on. Some RC4 options take a long time to respond.A "slow" RC was never a problem until recently. Everything else in FSX runs fast.I may have done something to my computer, which is dedicated to FSX only, that I can't recall that has caused the RC slows.Any more suggestions? March 20, 201016 yr Tower is clearing me to land when aircraft is on runway...Is Interact with AI enabled in the General setup for RC? It should be.Be sure you have the latest ASA service pack installed that resolves some issues.http://www2.hifisim.com/node/9according to what I've read.Try just FS and RC running to check if add-ons are slowing you down, then add ASA, and so forth.

This slowed RC4 down, but this eluded me.ASA now has a free upgrade, Active Sky Evolution. At Scott's suggestion I downloaded the upgrade...and, boy, my RC4 runs FAST!So, a big thanks to one and all!zach Digital Storm, Win 7 64-bit, Intel i5 4690k (OC 4.5 GHz), ASRock Z97, FSX Gold, two Dell monitors, 1x Samsung 500GB DDR, PC 8GB DDR3 (1866), RC4, DX10 Fixer,nVidia Inspector tuned by FSX DX10 "How To" Guide, nVidia GeForce GTX 970 (4GB),Opus, GEX, UTX, UT2, REX (4, Soft, Airports) FS Global 2008, PMDG JS41 & 737NGX, 750W Corsair
March 21, 201016 yr Make sure you continue with that DWC unchecked in ASE. Unchecking it seems to solve a variety of problems in both RC and Active Sky also. I'm not sure it really does any good for anyone. I'm using ASE and RC together with no problems. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
