March 22, 201016 yr I just could control one throttle when i cut off AT or i had control more than 30 mins. The 2 Engiens works well, but i just can control i throttle if i cut off AT - -!. Is the FSUIPC problem? My FSUIPC is 3.85 or 3.93. I try use keyboard E+1,2,3,4.but id doesnt work :(I reinstalled many times.....i dont know where the problem is. I have setup FSP ,FSIN.My simulate device is Saitek YOKE.is there anybody can help me ~~TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT SOSOSOSOSOS
March 22, 201016 yr Don't use any Saitek drivers or software. In FSX controllers menu you must disable controllers 'cause of fsuipc. Try reassigning throttle axis in fsuipc. Good luck "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"

Once you press the E key on the keyboard it disables a single access throttle lever from controlling both throttles. You need to use the A/T switch instead of using the E key. George Morris
March 22, 201016 yr I deleted the MSFS assignment for that E key, problem gone. I use it now to open EICAS or System Diagnostics on the heavies. Dan Downs KCRP
March 22, 201016 yr I once had this problem. The best solution is prevention, look in your keyboard commands for 'Engine Select,' and delete it. When you press 'E,' and you have not disabled said command, you end up selecting one engine. However, if you need to fix it now, to get control of both, press E and then quickly press 1 AND 2 (not the numpad), similar to the way you do it at pushback. You really need to do it fast so it might not work at first, and when you finally get it working make sure the first thing you do is remove the assignment! Andrew McCluskey

I have tried on several occasions and it never worked (no matter how fast I did it). George Morris

But on a serious note, ensure that the command for 'Engine Select' is bound to 'E' and then try it. Andrew McCluskey

Maybe I have found a new justification er um reason why I need one of those new gaming keyboards. Hmmmmm.... :( George Morris
March 22, 201016 yr Yes, I did have E bound correctly. I must not have the touch or maybe I have found a new justification er um reason I need a new keyboard. Hmmmmm.... :(George,Not got FS9 installed ATM, but just tried it in the JS41 in FSX and it didn't work, then tried it in the default A321 and it worked. Appears PMDG must have a seperate bind for the engine select, but I did do it on the Level-D and it was fixable with the E + 1&2 method. Raid the PMDG specific key commands and see if there's anything there :) Andrew McCluskey
