March 31, 201016 yr I have this issue where my joystick is not applying the breaks. I have the breaks mapped to the trigger through the assignments page. It is mapped correctly because, if the parking break is set, I can release it with the trigger. Same with disconnecting the autobreaks on rollout. The breaks function if I press the "." on my keyboard...just not when I pull the trigger. I have check FSUIPC, but there is nothing in there that would be intercepting the signal. It started a couple of days ago when I load up the VRS F/A-18. I'm at a loss with this one, so any help would be greatly appreciated. The joystick is a Saitek CyborgXThanksMatt Matt L.
March 31, 201016 yr Have you disabled controllers in FS setup? Have you programmed anything through any Saitek software? "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
March 31, 201016 yr Do the brakes work if you "rapid fire" the brake trigger on your joystick? If so, you need to adjust the repeat.regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
March 31, 201016 yr Maybe you can create a macro in FSUIPC? Don "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
March 31, 201016 yr I have used that Joystick before, the Joystick twists from "left to right", which is the Rudder Control on that particular Joystick. Sometimes whilst your pulling the trigger you seem to automatically twist the Rudder Control (I have no idea why this is, but I always seemed to do it), this apply's the difference breaks, If this is what I think your problem is, then your aircraft sort of keeps taxing forward but the aircraft turns...am i correct??,You can change this so that doesn't happen, but i cant remember where to change the settings for this our, just try to keep the Rudder Control twists straight. If this is your problem, then hopefully this helps. RegardsCaptain C D Clarke
April 1, 201016 yr Author Ok...So it is a repeat issue. I just set up FSUIPC to map the trigger to the breaks. It's a little slow in reacting, but it works for now. Thanks guysMatt Matt L.
