Night textures help

Featured Replies

I have Fly Tampa's San Deigo scenery installed and close to the airport is one of those large default water tanks (or is it a fuel tank?). At night the whole tank disappears and all you can see is the lights. Is there something that can fix this? I thought I remember seeing a fix for this but couldn't find anything.

If these are the default tanks like those east of the departure end of 34R at KSEA, Bill Browning did a fix for them. The file is missing here, I think it's at Flightsim.com.Search for Browning should find it.regards,Joe

Thank you. I thought I remeber seeing a fix for that but couldn't find it at all. I recently re installed FS9 and needed that fix again.

I believe this is what Joe was referring to:Name: tanks.zip Size: 67,188 Date: 11-13-2004 Downloads: 1,149 tanks.gif FS2004 Tank Scenery Lightmap Fix. A small fix for an FS2004 texture error that caused tank scenery to disappear at night. This is particularly noticeable around KSEA. By Bill Browning. From Flightsim.com
