February 11, 201214 yr I have ASE and am thinking about upgrading to AS 2012. Has the above problem with flight plans starting at Amsterdam been solved in AS 2012?ThanksThere is no problem with the program, but there seems to be a problem with operator error. February 11, 201214 yr There is no problem with the program, but there seems to be a problem with operator error. I don't understand your post re "operator error". If you read this thread you will see that you have to save any flight plans produced by say Flight Sim Commander that start at EHAM by opening FSX and saving it there, Then you can use that plan in ASE. My question is do you still have to do that in AS 2012? Regards Nixon Thomas

February 11, 201214 yr Yes. If your flightplan is not recognized after compiling it using FSCommander, it is operator error. It may help if you define "operator error" as am at a loss at what you mean. If you read post 8 there is a work round, my question is simple. Will I still have to do that if I buy AS 2012? Regards Nixon Thomas
February 11, 201214 yr He is trying to be a horse's rear end with his attempt to blame you for this situation. The bottom line is that AS needs to read a FS formatted plan. If you are going to use a 3rd party planner then you need to either make sure the exported plan is in FS format or open the plan in FS and re-save it. Then you have a FS formatted plan to use in any version of AS.
