April 4, 201016 yr I have FSX Standard, and as you may know this edition of Flight Simulator X has animated jetways. I have tried to activate this funtion by hitting CTRL+J and nothing happens. I have tried this even on the default FSX planes and again no success. My display settings are on medium high.I will appreciate any help in this matter...Thanks. Visit Us at www.virtualeastern.com
April 4, 201016 yr If you go into the controls section (not exactly sure what it is called) the area with the keyboard assignments. well whatever, go to that section and scroll down to a command called, i believe, jetway attach/detach and that should tell you the current key command. hope this helps.

Secondly, your aircraft must have the exits defined in its config file. If not the jetway cannot attach to the aircraft. Hope this helps.Regards,Bob

April 5, 201016 yr Advanced Animations is the big one people miss.I'm not so sure scenery complexity has to be on Very Dense. I've definitely used the jetways in the past and have NEVER been able to afford scenery complexity more than (regular) Dense.

Dense is good enough. Advanced Animations must be selected as described above. _____________________________________________ Mark Bott

I managed to get the jetways working!!! :( Thank God it does not require the scenery complexity slider to be set to Very Dense (It would make my computer go very s....l....o....w....)
