Spoilers/speed brakes don't work on approach

Featured Replies

I noticed when flying with FS2Crew my spoilers / speed brakes don't work during the approach phase of the flight, not 100% sure at what exact point during the approach the problem starts but it seems to be below 10.000 feet or maybe after running the approach checklist. What happens is when I try to extend them to add drag they won't and when looking at the spoiler handle I see how it's pressed downwards but then it just pops up again. I have tried to extend the speed brakes both by using the default keyboard shortcut as well as using the mouse in the in the v/c. I only see this problem on the approach, during the rest of the flight including the initial descent the speed brakes work just fine.TIA,

I searched the forum to see if that's been reported before and I couldn't find anything.Did you install the latest Service Pack from the FS2Crew Downloads page?I do, however, seem to recall I coded the FO so he'd arm the spoilers during the landing checklist in case you forget. Perhaps that's a clue.Cheers,
