Maddog Update Imminent

Featured Replies

Hi Bryan,As you probably know, there is an update of the Maddog in the pipeline (hopefully by the end of this month).I can't wait to get my hands on the 'All Analogue' version. Are you planning an update to your brilliant bit of kit to allow use of the Analogue version (I am assuming that we won't be able to use your current version, as it will need to change procedures to accommodate the lack of VDUs etc.).Thanks,Neil.ps. I do keep spreading the word to all who will listen, :( Thanks again for such a wonderful program!

Hi Bryan,Leonardo has just released a Service Pack (not the new update still to come, to feature full analogue cockpit), and there are a couple of issues. The most important one is that the FS2Crew panel files need updating to allow the new OAP/EOAP panels to be opened up.It has only been out for a matter of minutes, and I am already nagging :-)ThanksNeil

Neil, thanks for the info. Otherwise, will FS2Crew more or less work, or should I hold off installing the service pack until FS2Crew releases their service pack?

I'll take a look and issue updated panel.cfg files.Unless you know how to edit panel.cfg files yourself (it's very easy), I'd hold off on installing the Maddog updates until I release the updated panel.cfg files.Cheers,

Thank you Bryan, for sure I will make a backup first! :) So with these changes there should be no problems with the new service packs? Is it only for the Pro version or also for the Maddog2008 standard?
