Have bought the FSX Gold Edition 2nd hand from a games reseller,CEX down in London.It installs fine but is asking for a 25 digit CD key when the installation is completed.Is this normal for this particular game as I cannot find a CD key anywhere in the accompanying documentation in the box,and when I checked with my local CEX branch,they were of no help other than offering me a refund,which is not what I want.Any ideas? The sticker is at the top - inside the left half of the DVD case. If it's not there - take the refund - Microsoft isn't going to give you one.

There should be a sticker with a product key somewhere, most likely inside the DVD box, next to the DVD itself.

Rick,I don't have the Gold edition but for the original FSX DVDs as well as for Accelleration, the product key was on an orange sticker inside the DVD box (when you open it, on the top right hand side).

Thanks for that,ryanbatcund and JSkorna.Then why is Microsoft itself telling Flight Sim enthusiasts via its own FSFinder site that as this version has been reported hard to come by,it is going to make new stocks available to resellers? That was where I took my cue from.Now thanks to you guys I can look elsewhere.

I think they meant in stores... I know I haven't seen it in Best Buy, Walmart, or Target for a while now
