I know ez scenery, it was limited to a certain area. They are both developed by the same person. I am not sure that EZ-Scenery is still being developed. Instant Scenery is and is likely to be better supported. How much more it will give you I don't know but it should be able to place any objects that work in FS9 and FSX. I know ez scenery, it was limited to a certain area.I have both - but much prefer IS as it works in both FS2004 and FSX and has a number of extra features which EZ does not have. With IS you can tilt objects and also create thumbnails of the objects you may wish to use - just to name two things I like about IS.BTW - EZ is not limited to a certain area - only the free demo version (of both programs) is limited. They both cost about the same but in my opinion IS is a much better investment. And yes, IS can place all of the default objects, all of the RWY12 objects and all of the so-called EZ style library objects,
April 25, 201016 yr Author So could I add payware scenery objects anywhere I would like? Ez scenery was limited.
April 25, 201016 yr So could I add payware scenery objects anywhere I would like? Ez scenery was limited. If you can't do it in EZ you won't be able to do it in IS either. Some objects are limited (by the author I suppose) as to where they can be placed. All of the free library objects, such as I mentioned earlier, can be placed anywhere.
April 25, 201016 yr Opa, can you do "Excludes" in Instant Scenery, and if so is it easier to do than with Excbuilder v2?? Also, can IS be used to flatten an airport in any way, or create an illusion of flattening, or even create "fake" ground scenery to come up from the mesh to meet the aprons of the addon airport, as in the procedure discussed in this thread?<< http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=282976 >>If you follow my "concern du jour". Thank you, my friend!Nope - IS (or EZ) is only an "object placer" - of which are are literally thousands of objects to choose from - to "decorate" an airport or scenery area. It has no "design" functions such as flattening or excludes etc.You may find ADE 9X the tool of choice as it can do such things and place objects also.
