April 30, 201016 yr Lovely plane - but some initial questions..I can see the green navigation light at the end of the right wing from the cockpit.. can that be fixed/moved?The flaps handle moves the full stroke for the first notch and does not move for the second notch.. is that right? Bert
April 30, 201016 yr The flaps handle moves the full stroke for the first notch and does not move for the second notch.. is that right?Noticed that too. Amongst a lot of other things...BTW Bert, this plane could really use some of your mouse-wheel-magic-editing...! :( Are you working on it already? :(

April 30, 201016 yr Can speak for FS9 only, but maybe it helps you too for FSX.Open your aircraft.cfg and find out under light-section which effect-file causes the visibility of the depending light in the cockpit, so for example the green nav-light.Now open the effect.cfg of the green nav and look for an entry one of the following:Cockpit=1VirtualCockpit=1Spot=1Tower=1Map=1Description out of the effect-SDK:The view modes in which the effect appears. If you use the list on the left, the effect shows up in all views. If you don't want the effect to show up in a view, omit the parameter that corresponds to that view or change its value to 0.Hope, that helps until a fix will come out.Phil
April 30, 201016 yr I was toying with the idea of incorperating the IRIS DA40 nav/strobe to all my Carenado planes. May work/may not. we'll see! April 30, 201016 yr Uhm, not good. As I said, I have no chance to look at it, because I'm using FS9, but maybe it helps if you set the light in the aircraft.cfg few points down?!?!If it doesn't help I haven't any idea.
May 1, 201016 yr Author BTW Bert, this plane could really use some of your mouse-wheel-magic-editing...! :( Are you working on it already? :(I've changed the altitude preselector... any other areas that you would go after?If you like, you can edit the VS.xml file as follows:<Mouse> <Area Left="478" Top="69" Width="175" Height="163"> <Cursor Type="Hand"/> <Click Kind="LeftSingle+WheelUp+WheelDown"> (M:Event) 'LeftSingle' scmp 0 == if{ (L:VSMODE,etc... } (M:Event) 'WheelUp' scmp 0 == if{ (L:VSMODE,etc... } (M:Event) 'WheelDown' scmp 0 == if{ (L:VSMODE,etc... } </Click> </Area></Mouse> Bert
May 1, 201016 yr I've changed the altitude preselector... any other areas that you would go after?Well, I wished you could simply hold the mouse over every knob and use the mouse wheel, instead of searching for (and keeping the mouse exactly at) clickspots. ;) I'll see if I can figure out that xml editing...
