April 30, 201016 yr I have a little puzzle. After a reformat and reinstall of Windows XP, I reinstalled my backed up FS setup by installing a Vanilla FS9 and then replacing it with my files. All went smoothly (apart from a few annoying registration issues with "payware" sceneries, but suddenly I have the date (when you end a flight) appearing in US format: MM/DD/YYYY. Previously, this always displayed in British format: DD/MM/YYYY. Does this matter? In theory, no, but it is now adding entries to the FS log book in that format, and as a result is not sorting them into correct date order. It is just a niggle, really. The XP international settings are correct, so I think it is something within FS but I can't see a way to change it. Ideas anybody?John(Made in Britain) My co-pilot's name is Sid and he's a star! http://www.adventure-unlimited.org

December 8, 201411 yr I had the same problem in reverse, after buying a new Windows 7 machine. I set the machine up with the Canadian dd/mm/yyyy, and that's how my logbook came out. I tried uninstalling the Flight Sim, resetting to U.S. mm/dd/yyyy and reinstalling the sim, to no avail. Elmerfudd
December 9, 201411 yr Go to your windows settings & change the date format there. Either to your local settngs or to another that gives you the correct format. Uninstalling the sim is a waste of time & obviously has nothing to do with the PC's time setting. Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...
December 9, 201411 yr I did go to the windows settings and change the date format there, it has no effect on the sim logbook. Regards, Elmerfudd
