May 5, 201016 yr I want to change the avionics fit to match the Lance panel which my son ( and I ) fly now. Is it possible to modify the panel bitmaps in any way? I cant find the 3 VC panel bitmaps anywhere even with hidden files showing. If not, is it possible to get rid of the VC and use a 2D panel instead. I would prefer to make a 2D panel to use but I cannot prevent the VC showing even with changes to the panel.cfg file.ThanksColin B
May 6, 201016 yr Author Thanks. I found them under different file names to those in panel.cfg and had to open them with DXTBMP.Is there any way to stop the VC appearing so that I can make and use a 2D panel?Colin B

May 6, 201016 yr Author I can add a 2D panel but haven't been able to stop the VC showing. A search for W-fix doesn't return any results on FSX forum, so is there a better location to look at? If not, I'll try the more complicated looking way.ThanksColin B

May 7, 201016 yr Author I found PanelMania on Simviation and used Wfix from that. Neither that nor the manual way worked. It did say for FSX and I'm using FS9 so maybe that's it.Even removing all VC panel entries from the panel.cfg won't stop the VC appearing so I guess it's not possible to get rid of it.Thanks for trying anyway.Colin B
