Can anyone point in the direction of a decent quality Phantom ? I have not really seen anything that does not seem to be an FS9 model. Thanks, Mark

Looks nice, but no word from the devs about release and nothing on their site. Could be a long wait......Cheers, Mark

As far as I'm aware, A2A have been at their F-4 for quite a while, so one would hope it is coming along soon. Short of that you'll be looking at this one:AFS PhantomI don't know much about, although it certainly looks alright. There is a review of it hereAccording to that review, the AFS Design F4 is what you might call a 'lite' treatment of the Phantom, if you want realism, you might have to wait for the A2A effort, which, if their other recent output is anything to go by, will be truly excellent, since they are most certainly turning out to be the 'PMDG of warplanes'. Having said that, in the meantime, you could simply get that AFS one, since it is undoubtedly not that expensive, and might keep you happy until the A2A one comes in for a landing.Al

Wow, thats cool to know. Years ago when I was taking flying lessons in the high desert of California, my instructor was living with a guy who was an F-4 pilot at what used to be George AFB in Adelanto, CA. She was able to get me into the sim for an hours flight. It was set up for night flying, so the graphics weren't great, but none the less it was pretty fun to fly. Ever since then I have always had a interest in the F-4 and am glad to see a new version comming to FSX.
