I have a GTX 285 and am using 197.45 drivers and v2.5.7 of Nhancer. The first drivers that I used on this rig was 195.81.You really just need to try different drivers and see what works best and if the first one you try works fine then great.Nhancer v2.5.9 was released a week or two ago.http://www.nhancer.com/?dat=downloads

What OS and FS version?

windows 7 64 bit and fsx, and maybe together fs2004

With the 480, I'm using the latest driver set (197.75 for 400 series) and nHancer 2.5.9 and they are working great!Phil

I am about to destroy my pc!!VGA driver or nhancer doesn't make any effectWhen i use 4870 ATI CCC and Tray tools don't use to work either.What is the problem i can't rid from shimmers and jaggies with any card and any program :( What's wrong? my monitor? In nHancer for my FSX profile AA is set to combined 8xS and AF is set to 16x.I have no problems with either.Rod

i tried 8s, 32s etc jaggies reduced but didn't go away completely. fps drops to 14-15 in rainy and stormy weather with a addon aircraft.cpu cores work at 100%i think i have to oc it over 3 ghz.

I am at 4.2GHz, over NYC in the Aerosoft F16 or the PMDG MD11 my FPS is around 20, as soon as I get a little past JFK it jumps to 30 and I have it locked at 30. This includes having my AI traffic set at 30% and AI aircraft lables enabled plus most scenery sliders are maxed out.FSX is CPU hungry, the higher the clock the smoother it willl generally run. If you have your AI set high then that is going to affect how FSX runs since AI requires a large amount of CPU time. If you have aircraft labels enabled then that takes CPU time.

4.2 ghz is pretty good. i can't reach even close of that

this is weird, default aircrafts and scenery's shimmers reduced very well but addon aircrafts are still lokk horrbile.Edit: I can't reply or create a topic via firefox in avsim forums, only ie8 works for me.

That's texture aliasing, something that can't be solved with MSAA. You'd need to use SSAA to fix that.

hey, it is very useful informaiton! i tried combined aa settings but 4*4 ssaa has defeated shimmers more than combined.thank you, rest of the shimmers can be my buddy from now on :)
