I purchased and downloaded the PMDG MD-11, and it actually worked fine for a flight. I think I've narrowed it down to when I installed a repaint, the world airlines one. FSX will not start anymore. The 'default flight' menu appears for a second, and then FSX crashes. I can't use anything anymore, and I've tried repairing the installation, uninstalling and reinstalling and every combination thereof.Has anyone else had this problem? I've never had a compatibility error with anything. This is wierd. I'm desperate now because I have two and a half years worth of work into FSX and now it's not working.

Frankly, there is no reason whatsoever for me to display my full name in public. If it's required, then I'll be happy to divulge any information needed such as names or order information needed by PMDG officials in private, preferably over a secure website. Avsim is not a safe place.

Thank you for suggesting that I search the threads before I post. I did look around, and saw nothing relevant. Am I not in the correct place for PMDG support? This is where I was told to come by the website.

It appears that way, doesn't it? You've truly made me sorry I came here at all. Hopefully you can see why I didn't come here in the first place. I didn't treat this as a normal message board, because I was informed by the PMDG webpage that this was an OFFICIAL SUPPORT RESOURCE for a premium product I paid nearly 80 dollars for. Had I known this was actually a place where my primary responses would've come from an 'elitist' who essentially insists that I 'come correct' or not come at all, I would have never came.
