May 24, 201016 yr Which is the Best Nvidia Card for FS9? Being relatively new to this I am unsure which card is best.I have Win XP SP3 (32 bit), 3.4 GHZ CPUNot sure about Windows 7 yet as to whether there are any compatability issues for FS9, my addons and my Saitek Yoke. Many thanks,Chris EGBB

June 2, 201016 yr Your CPU is 3.4GHz and you're probably not overclocking if you're asking for tech advice, so chances are that means you're using a P4, in which case your bottleneck is your CPU and not your GPU.
June 2, 201016 yr Author Many thanks TechguyMaxc. I overclocked the CPU from 3.2Ghz to 3.4Ghz any higher and the system seems to crash.Bets Rgerads,Chris EGBB
June 6, 201016 yr Many thanks TechguyMaxc. If your system is unstable when overclocking, you need more voltage and/or better cooling.

July 14, 201015 yr An 8800 Ultra geforce is more than enough for FS9's relatively low graphical demands, even if you are running a TH2G setup like I am. I run an 8800 GTS now, but even the 7900 GTO I had before it was just as good in FS9. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

July 19, 201015 yr Not necessarily. He could have the memory divider set incorrectly.True, RAM may be set too high. I presume people know to set their memory @ rated speed or lower when OCing but some may not.
