May 29, 201016 yr Did a clean install of FSX with acceleration pack followed by aircraft installations for PMDG 747, Level-D 763, PIC737, etc.all the aircrafts work flawlessly except for the PIC737 which has a dead and dark panel. So I spent sometime searchingin various Forums and also contacted Wilco and this is a resumee of what I found and implemented.First WilcoLoad the aircraft under the 2D mode and then to switch to 3D mode (Virtual Cockpit) - DoneUnder Windows Vista/7, make sure to run the installation with full Administrator rights - DoneAlso, launch Flight Simulator with full Administrator rights - DoneFrom Vatsim FSInn ForumEdit dll.xml to ensure the PIC737 entry is at the very top - DoneEnsure FSCopilot.dll (Part of the FSInn pilot client) is the last entry on dll.xml - DoneIf I remove FSCopilot from the dll.xml PIC737 works perfectly. However other users have claimed that their PIC737works fine without removing FSCopilot.dll, but there appears to be a larger number who haven't been able to get it work.Would appreciate feedback from any user who has managed to get this panel to work on Windows 7 Home Premium 64with FSCopilot installed to try and replicate their configuration and see if we can finally sort out this issue affectingquite a few online pilots.ThanksJoaquin Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.

Some switches do not work. If you are using 737PIC under Windows 7/Vista, make sure to have purchased and installed the 737 Pilot in Command Upgrade for Windows 7/Vista available from here.http://www.wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=support_737PIC Gerry Howard
May 29, 201016 yr Author Thanks for your replies.I did purchase the Vista/Win7 upgrade file 737PICX_Upg_Vista2.exe but after running it the system tells me there is nothing to upgrade, reason being that the full installerfile which I have 737PICX_Full_2b.exe already contains these updates. I did use this latter file when I was using Vista Ultimate 64 and all worked well.As for the Vista Rain Fix I've no idea what it is and where to find it. Any pointer much appreciated.Worth mentioning that PIC737 does work on Windows7 64bit, providing you are not using FSInn's module FSCopilot.dll, this is the reason for my post to find out how to overcome this issue.RegardsJoaquin Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.

May 29, 201016 yr Author Again from Wilco:Although they may work, the use of our add-ons is not supported under Windows Vista 64bits. http://www.wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=support[/quoteThanks again, I've already been in touch with Wilco support and included their comments on my first post, and so that there is no further confusion PIC737 DOES WORK ON FSX ON WIN7 64.The problem I am trying to resolve is to get it to work when using FSInn which is one of the pilot clients in Vatsim.RegardsJoaquin Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.
June 16, 201015 yr I have the exact same problem. And it also occurs in 32-bit.I also tried the DLL-trick - and it worked once - but the next time i loaded fsx it didn't.So there must be a combatibility issue between those two apps. unfortunately there's no development on fscopilot at the moment and wilco will probably say it is fscopilot that has the problem (although all other add-ons works). If we are a lot of users then we could write a letter together to wilco to make them consider a new patch.I'd be happy to make such a mail - so send me a PM with you e-mail, full name, streetaddress and country. And when we are a reasonable number i'll write them. // Jesper Giørtz-Behrens ------------ Graphics artist for Prosim737 panels
