June 11, 201015 yr Not everything has been corrected. But some things, including the objects pop-up on approach, were.Still there are bumpy taxiways (might be corrected by disabling the default photoscenery of Amsterdam, as some claim) and some screwed signs.See you all at Schiphol!
June 11, 201015 yr Good to hear, I hope it's an improvement. I have purchased several Aerosoft sceneries and have always been very happy with them. I found Amsterdam to be disappointing both in appearance and performance. Downloading the update now - fingers crossed. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
June 11, 201015 yr Much needed, thanks for the pointer.Maybe my heavy iron can get to the gates now, without getting wings chopped by the gantry...
June 11, 201015 yr I found Amsterdam to be disappointingCzesc, Gavin!I guess that's because in our consciousness Aerosoft means just Aerosoft. But we must remember that although there are some internal projects being made within its core (like Airbus X now for example), they are mostly a publisher co-operating with at least a few design gruops. Best examples are the German Airport team, responsible for all the excellent airfields and airports in Germany and Sim-Wings, specialising in Spain (including the top notch Mallorca X) plus some more mega airports (Heathrow or de Gaulle). Cornel of FS Dream Factory made ESSA and now EHAM for them. That is a different quality if you ask me. Though I love flying to Stockholm, I don't enjoy this addon airport as much as I would like to. If Cornel is reading these words then I really want to say I'm sorry for what I'm typing here. That's just the way I feel. Maybe it's because FSDF is a one-man band, unlike GAP or Sim-Wings. Same with Luxembourg, released aerlier this year: I can't say I liked it.Anyway noone made a better rendition of Arlanda or Schiphol, so let's enjoy them. They are not bad, just not GAP or Sim-Wings level (not mentioning FSDT, FlyTampa or Flight-Scenery). SwedFlight and Cloud9 are too old to be glad of, aren't they?
