June 13, 201015 yr Hello,I haven't played FSX in a while, so I went to launch it up the other day and found it extremely grainy. I checked nHancer and everything appeared to be set correctly, so I launched FSX again only to find the same problem.I checked FS2004, and that appears to be fine, so it is not a hardware issue. My graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce 9600 GSO.I updated my drivers to the newest release and am still having the same issue. Ryzen 9 3950X / RTX 2080 Ti / 32GB DDR4 (3200MHz @ 14-14-14-34)
June 13, 201015 yr Take out your fsx.cfg, start up FSX and let it build new cfg. Keep old cfg for reference when reapplying your tweaks. "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
June 13, 201015 yr Probably your new driver installation has over-riden NHancer. Suggest you do the following:Uninstall Nhancer and your videodriverBoot in safe modeRun driver cleanerReinstall your new videodriver and don't touch its control panelReinstall NHancer (Your new videodriver might need a different version of Nhancer)IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
June 13, 201015 yr Author Tried both of these and still no go :( Ryzen 9 3950X / RTX 2080 Ti / 32GB DDR4 (3200MHz @ 14-14-14-34)
June 13, 201015 yr Tried both of these and still no go :(Have you set both the profile and the Global settings for FSX to the same in nHancer?Try again by renamiing your fsx.cfg and allowing the sim to rebuild the configAlso set the "profile can be activated manually" in nHancer and try activating and deactivating the profile to see if the profile is actually working within FSX once fsx is launched. If none of the above the work deinstall nHancer and reinsntall again
June 13, 201015 yr I notice it too. I think it has more to do with FSX's engine since all other games look fine. FSX just doesn't look as "smooth" as other games with FSAA cranked up.
