June 14, 201015 yr Hi,I am now totally frustrated when flying long distance in md11. The flight will not save any of the flight plan/panel settings when actioned in mid flght. On using "msfs load saved flight" the md11 reverts to a situation just after take off with intial take off settings. This is even when the flight is several hours into a trip!Have tried all the usual repairs and reinstalled but no success. Can anybody help and suggest a way out?I run Windows 7 64, ati 5700 series card, 4gb memory.CheersValbiran
June 14, 201015 yr Full names here please. I personally do not try to save and continue flights but many do and the tricks to this are contained in several threads that might be found with the advanced search function. Hope this helps.Your specific problem might be one of security rights denying the pmdg processes from saving/modifying a file. Make sure you have all the nanny-security stuff in your OS out of the way. Dan Downs KCRP

June 20, 201015 yr You have to do 2 saves one for the Panel State which you will find in the PMDG dropdown settings and the flight itself which you have done. When you load that flight you then load the saved panel state and all should be good.Hope this helps. Phil Brewer. My Flight Sim Blog www.sim-deck.co.uk

You only have to save your flight in MSFS and all should be fine (it will save the current panelstate at the same time).SO IT MUST BE AS DAN TOLD YOU......Check, check.../ Leffe Leif A Mikkelsen **********************

July 9, 201015 yr Author thanks to you guys - I am still trying to solve this problem. I have repaired the pmdg md11 filers and the fmc still retains the take off settings even though I am in mid flight on a long haul trip.Security settings have been changed and at least I now get the aircraft in the correct position en route but with the fmc still thinks I am taking off!My next move is a complete reinstall of all my pmdg addons. I'll report further on progress.thanksbrian spruce
