Program for logging FS2004 flights?

Recommended Posts

Guest Kent10

I found the website i was looking for all along. it was flightmemory.com. now i have to ask another question...is there a site that has a database with somethign where i can input a departure airport and arrival airport and it'll spit out all those times, airline, and flight times of that particular route? i have all the alliance timetables...but that only covers like 40% of the airlines i would like to fly.

How many airlines can you fly with virtual pilots association? I Like air-source because you can fly over 900+ airlines to basically anywhere in the world which is amazing! but their logging system is very buggy. Like for instance if you fly with sim-rate time on long flights, whioch i do because i dont have time to sit in front of my computer for 3 hours, you only get credit for the time you don't have sim rate on. Just that little bit that bother me.
You can fly with all of them. The rarer an airline the more points you get for the flight that add up to your ratings in the end. Search for ANY real world airline route and just fly it. The PIREP validators will have to be convinced though that such flight was indeed flown by said airline within the last 7 days. However they have a few internal systems to ease that validation. Wht dont you see for yourself?Alex

You can also buy yourself a real pilot logbook for around 10$(where im from anyways) and use it for you simulation flights.I while back when i was in flight school the proffesional logbooks went on sale at the library at my school for 5.95$ so i bought about 5 of them, still have some iin the plastic wrapper when my other ones fill :(

Ya, i tried to join and i failed the entrance exam. I know my airline/flight sim stuff, but some of those questions i have never seen before! Oh well. I'm just gonna fly on my own and rack up hours. :(

How do you liek Air-source? It looks amazing! like you can fly basically any airline! but when lookign through it the only concern i have is, will i be able to chose any route i want...or just the ones that are available?
The one's they have, but I defy you to find a route or airline (current OR classic) not served by the Air-Source VA! And if by some chance you can, send an email to management and they'll add it for you.
Alos is their an ACARS system to download so i can automatically file pireps?
Yes, live flight tracking and automatic PIREPS. There are several on-line flight boards and maps, too, and you can fly VATSIM as well. And NO entrance exam. Truly a union of virtual pilots, as this hobby was meant to be. :(

There's one other thing about FSPassengers that ranks it above all else AFAIC: Brake Squeal. Very Realistic Brake Squeal. On every aircraft - no gauge to install, no sound.cfg to mess with, just good old fashioned and well done brake squeal. Very cool. :(
