July 6, 201015 yr Is there a specific order that I should have my addons on the add-on list? Is there a difference if I put UTX above Megascenery SoCAL or below Megascenery SoCAL?Is there such a thing as too much addons? I am worried I have too many addons installed and that it'll somehow mess up something.
July 6, 201015 yr Most scenery addons will tell you where they need to be - check out the docs. So, for example, you may find that you need to put a small-area-scenery above the larger (e.g. UTX) scenery, so that one sits atop the other sensibly. Reading the readmes is probably the only way to get this right.Too many addons? I doubt it. With a lot of photoscenery you can get longish load times, but that's a price worth paying. I keep adding stuff, and FSX keeps working, so go for it, I suggest :) I've yet to find that I need to uninstall one plane, to install another. Paul Skol

I am worried I have too many addons installed and that it'll somehow mess up something.I've hundreds of gigs of sceneries and it's true that the load time is long. As for UTX above a photoscenery (higher priority) it will add streets lighting by. ex. I recommend an utility for managing all sceneries, changing priority, disabling, moving etc. that is Addit pro. July 7, 201015 yr Commercial Member My only advice is to add your addons slowly, over-time.That way if something goes wrong, it's easier to identify the problem. But if you install a whole whack of programs at once, and something goes wrong, it's hard to troubleshoot.Cheers, B. July 7, 201015 yr Haven't ever heard about 'too many addons'. But I agree with Bryan, good point. Regards,Stan
