Where do the united express a/c operate from at KLAX? I'm making my own afcad for the cloud9 scenery- AALX and eagle flight have their own mini-terminal, but I can't find where exactly united express flights operate out of. Wikipedia says terminals 7 and 8- does that mean they use the jetbridge gates along with the big boys or do they have their own place?thanks

First, I need to recommend that you get Google Earth (the free version is fine). It is extremely helpful in making AFCAD files. Second, sometimes, an airports website will give you the gate numbers for an particular airline or offer some sort of terminal map. Some are better than others though. KMKE is particularly well done as an example. From what I can see, UALX flights all go to terminal 8 with the inner 4 gates on the west side of terminal 7 being for UALX aircraft. The rest of the gates at terminal 7 are for the larger aircraft.

We currently park our RJ's (SkyWest, only united operator in LAX) at Terminal 8. The Bros have been moved over to terminal 7. United has gone back to parking some of their Aribus's at terminal 8 as well. We also use the "pad" which is just east of terminal 8 to use as overflow parking for RON"S (remain overnight) Hope this helps. BB BTW gates 81 thru 70 something, can't remember off hand. Seems like 77 maybe, their all odd numbers I think. Not sure, I just pull up and park were they tell me.
