Bug w/requesting ZFW

Featured Replies

All things considered, this is a great product. I've run in to a small bug though. I've found that when calling operations ot request the ZFW, I only get a response if the FS2Crew output source is set to speakers and not headset.Wit the FS2Crew audio output set to my USB headset, I set COMM 2 to 130.65 on the active frequency as advised and call "Requesting Zero Fuel Weight". If I have green display bar on, it confirms "Requesting Zero Fuel Weight" in the dialogue. I get no response. I then change nothing other than setting the FS2Crew audio output to my speakers and repeat the procedure. Now I get a response. This is reproducible for me and all other calls work fine through the headset.I understand you've modeled some calls like the engineer to come through speakers no matter what since you shouldn't be hearing these peopel through a headset. However, my issue here is that I don't hear the response at all if I have the options set to headset (not to mention, this voice should be coming through the headset). Otherwise, I love the product. Finally have the FS2Crew voice edition for a Boeing (I only fly FSX and the Wilco/default 737's never thrilled me). Can't wait to see what the upcoming PMDG 737NGX and FS2Crew will be like.

I just tried to reproduce this and it worked fine for me with both HS selected and unselected. With Headset Selected, the ZFW came though my Headset. With Headset Un-Selected, the ZFW came through my main Speakers. My only guess is that perhaps you didn't have the Audio Device in the CFG Panel set to the Headset Audio Device prior to calling for ZFW?Cheers,

I definitely had the headset selected before even starting the pre-flight procedures. I'll have to play around a little more with it and see if I can come up with any logic to what's going on. Thanks for taking a look at it anyway.

Hi,when I request for ZFW, the agent answers to me but in mono channel (the right one), not in stereo (headset on).
