August 9, 201015 yr Hello Folks!I like the engine smoke from the Concorde...Does anyone knows if there's an add-on out there that will create engine smoke...I'd like to have it on all my add-on airplanes to make it more realistic! And, of course I'd like to smell those 747-400 and MD-11 engines, smoking !!!!Juan Gonzalez

August 10, 201015 yr Commercial Member Modern high bypass turbofans like those on the 747-400 and MD-11 hardly emit any smoke at all. The Concorde's afterburning turbojets are a much older design and that's why they emitted so much smoke. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

August 10, 201015 yr For modern airliners, I think exaust shimmer effect would be more appropriate/cool :( "To most the sky is the limit but to me it's home" Rick Harms (CYVR) i7 [email protected] (for now) asus p6t v2, 6gb ocz 1600 CL7 ram. August 11, 201015 yr Commercial Member Fly above FL180?I think he wants actual smoke like 1970's 707,VC10's trailing huge black plumes on climb out. Not High altitude condensation, Marijuana, or smoking chairs unfortunately. Rob Prest

Not High altitude condensation, Marijuana, or smoking chairs unfortunately.Hi,I always thought the black smoke was from the galley after the attendants burnt the chicken and not from the engines !!!! On a more serious note,Juan did u check Avsim? There was a recently posted effect for 747 engine smoke. Not sure if it can be adapted for the PMDG but may be worth taking a look.http://library.avsim.net/zipdiver.php?DLID=150219Cheers, SpoilerSystem specs: MFG Crosswind pedals| ACE B747 yoke |Honeycomb Bravo throttleNow built: P3Dv5.3HF2: Intel i5-12600K @4.8Ghz | MSI Z690-A PRO | Asus Dual RTX 4070 Super OC 12Gb| 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200Mhz |Samsung 980Evo Pro PCIe 500Gb | WD Black SN850 PCIe 2Tb | WD SA510 4Tb |beQuiet 802 Tower Case|Corsair RM850 PSU | Acer Predator X34P 3440x1440pMark AldridgeMSFS2024 SU5 & P3D v5.3 HF2
