August 14, 201015 yr I'm thinking about buying a new plane for my birthday and these are the two on my radar. A pet peeve of mine is poor night lighting. I don't like planes that don't simulate a fully dark cockpit with backlit gauges. I would have purchased the ERJ Version 2 except for the fact you only get the flood light at night, as an example. What is the night lighting situation for these two planes please? Thanks!Colin
August 14, 201015 yr I'd get the Citation X from ES:http://www.eaglesoftdg.com/CitationX_20.htmAside from the standard FSX lighting bugs (usually occur around dawn and dusk), I can turn on backlighting in the VC in their Citation. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Our Citation X Extreme 2.0 includes the full compliment of VC Night Lighting and Control and does not rely on "dome light" as in other aircraft.Eaglesoft Citation X Extreme 2.0 includes Full Backlighting of all Avionics and fully dimmable Night Lit Text and Glass Avionics. There are a number of screenshots of this on our Product Page and in our Support Forums if you need to verify.
