Few little oddities....

Hey Guys!I'm lovin the MD11 for sure! I have always wanted one, but had to wait until now to get it!Anyway, I've successfully made 2 flights (PHNL-KLAX as FedEx 802) and (PHNL-YSSY as FedEx 75). Most everything is going great, but a few little odd issues I was wondering if you all have experienced!1. Sometimes, while in VC mode, just sitting there for say an hour or so while I'm watching TV etc, I'll come back and try and zoom in/out the MFD, but no joy. It does it, but it's like all of the displays lock up until I hit "A" to cycle the view, then all is back to normal.2. This is annoying, and I'm not even sure its the MD11 doing it. After a flight, if I want to load up and practice landings, I'll exit my last flight. Then I'll reload the def 172 flight and then I'll switch to the MD11 and let it initialize. Then, when I hit S to view the spot view, it's extremely zoomed in, like to where a few windows fill the screen. This is the new default zoom, and zooming out fully to like .20 still doesn't even show the whole plane!Any thoughts ?

I have experienced both of these issues but very rarely, I have not found out a fix for them yet. Because they're rare I haven't put much effort into it though.

I can almost always reproduce them, but then again, I'm using a laptop haha :PThanks for letting me know I'm not the only one?!

In FSX anything that changes the focus from the VC panel to another window will result in the need to cycle the A key to unfreeze the display. That is the only known fix, and it is entirely an FSX'ism.I always restart FSX before reloading any complex add-on aircraft like a pmdg.

With #1, I cure that with a quick hit of the backspace key. In fact this problem happens so often with the zoom not working I do it now all the time out of habit. Backspace resets the zoom so is easier to fix then cycle views. This happens with any aircraft, even default by the way.#2 Happens with any of the PMDG's. When you switch planes even going from default back to a PMDG sometimes there is still data stuck in FSX. It doesn't reload correctly because I think, it thinks it still has the particular files present. I can reproduce it often, but not 100%. The best bet is to restart FSX between flights where you're going to change PMDG's. It's the only guarantee and helps shake off other load issues having nothing to do with PMDG, like weather getting stagnant and some addons losing their hold on certain elements.I did a few flights a couple days ago, back to back without ever leaving the sim for a total of 4 flights in about 7.5 hours (Lazy sunday) and never had any issues but I kept the same AC also. Switching the way you described would always give me that stretched fuse look. Even if I changed to deefault C172, then A2A Piper, then to the Mooney, then back to the same PMDG.It is a cool view though and have gotten some great screenshots from it haha.
