Can no longer DL RW weather?

Featured Replies

I just updated to IE 8, among many other Winows updates. Now I can't download FS9 RW weather (static or 15 minute update). Where do I begin to look to solve this?

It's a server problem cause I can't downlioad the weather either.

Oh for God's sake...why is it whenever you are trying to accomplish one thing...something else decides that is the time to rear it's ugly head and muddle the waters??? :( :(

I can't download RW at the moment from within FS2002 or FS2004 either, or externally via Active Sky wxRE (but this has been acting flaky of late anyway). However, ActiveSky 6 seems to be working ok...

Good to know I am not the only one having this problem.Has anyone heard any more?As I recall this happens every once in a while.

I cannot DL RW too. Came on here to see if i wasnt just the only one, guess not :(

The word at flightsim is that it's over for good, no more realworld weather provided by the server.Over and out

If they were going to discontinue the RW service you would think they would give us some kind of warning? :(

Is there a third party solution which provides real weather through another source? Like Active Sky 6 perhaps? Would that be a workaround?Honestly if they were going to discontinue they had an obligation to let us know. Are they still supporting FS X?

No more real world weather?? I hope that is not true. I only fly with real world weather and do not have ActiveSky. I do have REX, I wonder if that will work? I haven't tried that.
