Another question from me!

Featured Replies

Good evening Gents,I have been asking quite a few Question the last little while as I am trying to get my sim back to where I had it before the fresh install. Before I ask I have to let you know that I did search the forums with no luck, In fact I am pretty sure i have asked this a while ago but I have pulled up my post and cant seem to find the post in question.Anyways, I am trying to figure out how I had my CH yoke setup, I had the button that you would assume would be for rudder trim set to zoom in and out while in VC mode, but for the life of me I cant figure out how i managed to do it. I am almost certain that I had to do something with the cfg file to accomplish this but cannot remember. Anyone have any clue on how to do that? Also I was wondering if it is possible to set one of my axis on my saitek throttle for speed brakes via fsuipc? What I would like to accomplish is have a speed brake lever, throttle lever then a flaps lever if possible. I read the manual on fsuipc but still having a hard time, Anyone know of the exact steps within fsuipc to accomplish the speed brake lever and the flaps lever?( If this is even possible.)Thanks again

I'll take a stab here to try and help out, but not knowing what aircraft you have in mind makes it a little diffilcult.First of all, the speed brakes are also called spoilers. The spoilers can be assigned an axis under the axis assignment tab. Give that a try and see what happens. The same applies to the flaps. Again, in the axis assignment tab. Also, let us know which airplane you are attempting to do this with. That would be very helpful.Jim D.p.s. I probably should include some more info, but it is late. If you don't get it working, repost here and I'll give you a little more.Good night.

HelloHere is how I do it in Fsuipc, I am using the profiles=yes in the fsuipc.ini so this set of settings works whenever I have a Jet loaded.Set up the lever to use here, press rescan and move the lever, select spoilers from the dropdownand tick send direct to fsuipc calibrationcalibrate here I set min and the middle box the same as there is no detent, flaps can be set in the same way over on the right.
