Hi FrankI must admit that I thought I had done this one, as I have the IBERIA scheme on almost everything else including the J41, but no I haven’t at least not yet.So here is a shot of the work in progress, but I need a couple of things of you, such as registration and engine fit, once I have those it should not take to long to finish her off and post a link for the files.Let me know the detail above or even if you want me to carry on with her, although I will anyway as I need a copy.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson

Hi MandyIf it is the passenger cabin lighting that you have a problem with then although I must admit that there is not a lot of cabin lighting but it is there, but as there is no actual control switch for the lighting you do need to assign a key press or a key press combination to activate the lighting by using the PMDG drop down menu and it will be listed under keyboard commands, once that is open you will find the section for assigning keyboard commands to the Cockpit and Cabin Lights, and you just assign a free key press to the cabin lighting, actually the PMDG MD-11 Introduction PDF does a far better job of explaining this than I am doing, so if you open that PDF document up and go to page 38, it will tell you exactly what you need to do in order to activate the passenger cabin lighting, and also all the other available actions that you can assign a keyboard control to.I hope it helps, and if you are still having an issue with the lighting, than let me know and I am sure that it can be fixed somehow.Take care, and have fun.Jim HodkinsonP.S.I did make the screen shot a bit lighter in order to show the lighting a little better, as most night-time screen shots I feel tend to be just a black rectangle sometimes.

I think I know the MD11 quite well.:((I have more than 1,000 hours of flight experience on the MD11.)For me, it looks the same as in your screenshot.I thought it is a mistake. :( (More than50 windows but only two have light)Would it be possible to have a little more enlightenment for my PAX `s?My crew has also complaint to me.:(If it's too much work or not possible then let it so.I am sitting on the plane. Hi Peops, This is in no way to discredit Jim's choice in passenger lighting, but thought I'd make available a substitute for any MD-11 FSX paint (I have the FS9 files somewhere,,, still looking).I use these in all my MD-11 paints and they give the illusion to having passengers. Hi DanThanks for the assist, I have to say that I have not really looked at the cabin lighting much if at all, but I will now.I have basically as you know, just used the default lightmap for the cabin windows, and when I received this question I though about updating the cabin lighting along the lines that you have very kindly made available for free, which saves a lot of time (thanks Dan you’re a star), so I will have a go at the IBERIA colour scheme and let Mandy have a download link for the updated files, unfortunately this will have to be in the morning, as I have an early start and was just about to call it a night.So once again, thanks Dan (and I did not think for one moment that you were about to discredit anything), and to Mandy, back as soon as I can tomorrow with the results of the update.Jim HodkinsonHi againI have just made a quick update to the IBERIA files ( I would not have slept anyway) using Dan’s very kindly donated lightmaps, so if you would like to try them out as a full package rather than just downloading Dan’s Turbines_Pax_light.zip file and placing the two files contained in the zip file directly into the IBERIA texture folder, then here is a download link for the full updated texture set..http://www.filefront.com/17237962/MD_11_IBERIA_02.zipOnce again Dan thanks for the assist on this one, it really is appreciated.Jim Hodkinson

Hi JimReally nice repaint :)If you have the time could you consider to do Scandinavian Airlines current livery for the MD-11. Would look great and first repaint for FSX on avsim.SAS flew DC-10-30,GE engines SE-DFE/ Anders Vesterlund
