Hi IñigoThe textures I use are just the standard FSX .dds textures not the HD versions, and to be honest I have no idea what is involed in the conversion process, either for FSX or if a similar process can be used in FS9, probably your best bet for a definative reply would be to ask Lee Marrow who has done some amazing work with the texture sets for the FSX version of the MD-11.Take care, and my aplogies for not being able to help on this oneJim Hodkinson

You can find Lee's thread here.I'll take a stab at answering it for you with more info than you probably are looking for, hehe;No, FS9 does not allow that high a res for their textures. I have made a few HD textures at 4096x4096 and it really depends on the paint your doing whether or not it will even make any difference at all. Higher resolutions allow for more detail to be added and allow to zoom in more to make more detailed curves, sharper fonts etc. There are a TON of liveries that making them high def won't change anything at all. If you have a paint that is orange and blue (just say) and it's 1024x1024, it isn't going to look any different if it was 4096x4096. So basically I'm saying there really isn't much to worry about or that your missing much or anything. Lee makes his files 2048x2048 and the standard size in FSX is 1024x1024. FS9 max texture size is 512x512 I believe so doesn't allow to make as detailed paints. Lee also makes his own bump files from what I read. I look forward to trying them out one of these days but lost my MD-11 license for a while :(
