September 20, 201015 yr Author Could someone who has tried to use FSHotSFX with Windows 7 (64-bit, but I suppose 32-bit would be similar) explain here exactly what the problems are. Also are the problems consistent each time or variable? I assume the programme loads OK - is it just the mistiming of the suond effects?Just wondering if I can come up with a 'fix' but need to think about it before my Windows 7 machine arrives in a week or two..Thanks,Martin Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
September 25, 201015 yr An error shows up when trying to run the install of FSHotSFX. It just doesn't install. I found the following on the internet about the error which I got as well when I tried to install it months ago:"FSHOTSFX failed to load properly.CHeck the FSHotSFX.log file in the install director. If you do not understand the error codes, email the log to [email protected] will end now."Pressing OK gives the following message:"Run-time error '91':Object variable or With block variable not set"
September 25, 201015 yr Author Oh, that doesn't sound too hopeful then! Fingers crossed either Aerosoft or Flight1 come up with something (better Aerosoft, Flight1's customer service seems to be going downhill, but that's another story I won't go into here).Martin Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)

Fingers crossed either Aerosoft or Flight1 come up with something (better Aerosoft, Flight1's customer service seems to be going downhill, but that's another story I won't go into here).MartinYou can load and run it in Windows 7 on the pro version as long as you load it in the virtual XP mode. The program starts and you can adjust all the settings the main issue is it does not communicate with FSUIPC which is loaded in FS9 on the windows 7 part of the pc. Obviously you ( I ) could reload all my FS9 stuff onto the virtual XP which would all work but I have so much on windows 7 it would be a pain.Hopefully someone will come up with how the 2 can communicate or we wait for another software agent to come up with some new stuff, shame really when FSHotSFX did what we wanted.Steve
May 20, 201115 yr I tell you what, whatever developer thinks they wont make money out of a program thats similar to FSHOTSFX for FS9 needs there heads read.If there is one program that WILL MAKE MONEY, it would be that one, because every single person worldwide who still runs FS9 would get that program.Ok, maybe not every single one, but damn close to it.
