September 13, 201015 yr Is the B1900D FSX compatible? If not is there a way to make it compatable? running FSX SP1 and SP2 on Win 7 32bit Steve BartlettCEOhttp://sunlandamerica.com
September 14, 201015 yr Sure is a way :- http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a82/how-do-i-import-the-1900c-and-1900d-into-flight-simulator-x.aspx?KBSearchID=16536The only thing is the prop texture messes the clouds, etc but there is a replacement for that on avsim downloads.John Ellison
September 25, 201015 yr Author Sure is a way :- http://support.preci...BSearchID=16536The only thing is the prop texture messes the clouds, etc but there is a replacement for that on avsim downloads.John EllisonI have the B1900D installed and working in FSX. However when I try to install (with the installer) the Great Lakes repaint it keeps saying "could not open aircraft.cfg file" Is there a fix for this? Steve BartlettCEOhttp://sunlandamerica.com
September 25, 201015 yr Usually run as admin on W7 but you'll probably need to install it into fs9 and copy the texture over from there and manually copy over the relevant [FLT.x] number and alter it to suit fsx. Also you should sign your post with you real name else they might be deleted as per forum rules.John Ellison
September 25, 201015 yr Author Yes I did the Admin thing and also tried to run in XP compatabilty. I don't have FS9 so I had to create a fake folder which installed the aircraft but won't let me add the repaint. As far as signature where do I do that at? I don't see a user control panel or anything like that Steve BartlettCEOhttp://sunlandamerica.com
September 27, 201015 yr Just type your name, like this...Bob LyonsBut my name isn't Bob! Haha, just kiddin (couldn't resist). To create a signature look at the top right of the page. It will have your log in name (Mine being Turbine777). Click it and choices will be presented. Click "My Settings" and there you will find your signature block. It's better to add it to your sig since it will keep from foregetting and save time asking questions :( i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier

September 30, 201015 yr I thought John Ellison answered that above? Or am I the one missing something here? i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier

October 2, 201015 yr You can possibly install it into a dummy FS9 directory/sub folders (FS9/(Airceaft, Effects, Gauges)) then install the liveries into that then transfer them across. I haven't tried this myself as I still have FS9 installed to run other planes.John Ellison

December 27, 201015 yr In the folder \Microsoft Games\ make a folder called \Flight Simulator 9\ then copy the FS9.exe from the \Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ folder in to it.Now go here http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library and download the FSX/FS9 Registry Repair Tool run it and do as it instructs, you should now have a PC that thinks FS9 is installed on it.Now install B1900C/D and any patches and liveries then follow this http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a82/how-do-i-import-the-1900c-and-1900d-into-flight-simulator-x.aspx?KBSearchID=16536Hope this works like it did for me :)Regards, Dave.
December 30, 201015 yr Certainly seems a far better way than I suggested there Dave and probably 100% workaround - brilliant idea.John Ellison
January 5, 201115 yr Yeah only problem i encountered was my gps/nav radios didnt seem to work properly maybe some else had this and can shed some light :)If you set the flight in the FSX Flight Planner and used the GPS she will follow the plan but the HSI wont match up so flying DME/ILS is a no go unless you have the GPS open.
